But I think we misunderstood Drake's real intentions in his battle with Kendrick Lamar...Mal might've accidentally revealed that Drake wanted to bait Kendrick into the NLU allegations when he said Drake said screw the rules and went personal despite an apparent agreement to not "take it there." I even have evidence from his lyrics on Scary Hours For All The Dogs edition that point to Drake knowing this UMG hit was coming before Like That was even dropped! I think he wanted to bait Kendrick so he could set himself up for a lawsuit settlement with UMG that would allow him to receive a record settlement that would fund his move to go independent! If Drake knew UMG would set him up, and then devised a plan to flip the script... call me crazy, but that sounds like the PLOT TWIST we all pondered!
