Here is the original, unaltered death scene of Duke from the GI Joe movie from 1987. General Hawk clearly says, "Prepare a funeral for a friend fallen in battle." This scene was later altered to make Duke go into a coma and then later survive. This change was made because fans reacted negatively to Optimus Prime being killed off in the Transformers movie the year before. What do you guys think? #gijoe #lostmedia #easteregg #80s #spoiler
