One of the biggest surprises I had in 2026 is that Digimon Savers finally got a BD Release, but it wasn't for the 20th anniversary of the Japanese broadcast, but rather for a German BD release. I think it's the first official full HD release the Digimon Savers series got.

I rewatched an Italian interview with Kenji Watanabe about mainly Digimon from the Florence Games Festival, and funny enough, he shared how fans told him that they could get away with Angewomon in their homes when they were young by telling their moms, "hey, it's just a Digimon".

In the Japanese intro of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory, the pronoun "I/Watashi" is written in both Hiragana (わたし) and Katakana (ワタシ), representing both Erika and Wormmon. The main events of both HaMe and CS are, in fact, Hudiemon remembering the world's past.

Originally, when Kenji Watanabe was drawing what would become Digimon, Bandai asked them to be Pokémon-like. However, he created something so similar to Pokémon that Bandai couldn't release it with them. After drawing inspiration from American comics, he made the Digimon we know.

Digimon X-Evolution not only shared writers with the ".hack" series, but the original plans were very similar to it as well. Animations for a three-part game, but it changed a lot until becoming a New Year's TV Special. It was the first long animated story led by Bandai/WiZ.

About the music, Alisa Okehazama said that there's a song from a certain Digimon series she loves with a guitar sound. So, in Digimon Beatbreak, she added that guitar sound to pay respect to it. She hopes fans will pay attention to the songs and notice that unique guitar sound.
