My flight from Germany to Israel was canceled. The only alternative was to reroute through Rome. So yesterday I went from Germany to Switzerland, from Switzerland to Italy, and from Italy to Israel. Was it worth it? Absolutely. “What is the purpose of your visit?” they asked me at the border. The altruistic answer: I’m here to help. The honest one: especially in times of war, I sleep better at night when I’m in Israel. How do you explain that to someone who has never felt it? #travel

I’m from Lebanon and Syria — here’s why I can’t stand people like Greta Thunberg. She’s built a career on causes she can afford to adopt while our people fight for survival every day. Suffering isn’t a trend for us; it’s daily life. Now to the shirt: “Yalla Intifada.” The First Intifada (1987–1993) erupted after an Israeli truck collided with Palestinian workers, killing four. It was largely strikes, boycotts, and stone-throwing, but it still cost roughly 1,100 Palestinian and 160 Israeli lives. The Second Intifada (2000–2005) was far darker: suicide bombings ripped through Israeli buses, cafés, and markets, deliberately targeting civilians. By the time it ended, close to 3,000 Palestinians and 1,000 Israelis were dead. This is the history behind that slogan. It isn’t a peace symbol. It’s a call back to a campaign that slaughtered thousands — and Greta wore it while claiming to fight for peace. #gretathunberg #intifada #israel

We rallied in New York today to stand with Syrian minorities who have been brutalized since Al-Julani’s takeover. Once again, Syrians who dreamed of dignity after Assad are crushed under a new regime of fear. From Assad to Julani, oppression only changes hands—never the lives of those who seek freedom. Today we raised our voices in New York for the forgotten victims of Syria’s endless cycle of tyranny. #syria #druze #sweida #sweidaundersiege #accountability #justice #سوريا #السويداء_تحارب_الإرهاب

If only the Lebanese knew how distorted their perception of the Israelis is…

Those injured are members of Hezbollah. They use their pagers to coordinate their operations. They knew what they were doing and it is only fair that they face the consequences instead of innocent #Lebanese paying for the recklessness of #Hezbollah

I don’t often wear my Syrian hat. But today, I have no choice. What has been done to non-Muslims in Syria is a moral failure — and the destructive role played by Tom Barrack, U.S. envoy to Turkey and Syria, cannot be ignored. He has proven unfit for this role — unable or unwilling to control the forces he empowered through the interim government. This is not diplomacy. This is negligence with human consequences. 🛑 Let Greta in. Let her stay. Let her see. Greta Thunberg and her companions want to sail into Gaza — let them. But let them stay. Let them witness, firsthand, the brutal reality of the Islamist regime they naively defend. Let them see how Hamas treats its own people. Let them feel the weight of war — not as a game or slogan, but as the devastating consequence of jihadist ideology. Perhaps then, they’ll understand that Israeli hostages are human beings too — taken from their families, held in terror, while the world looks away. Israel didn’t choose this war. Hamas did. But maybe Greta and her friends, from inside Gaza, will finally propose a better way — not to Israel, but to Hamas. Maybe they’ll finally learn who really needs to change. Letting them in would be a tribute to every victim of Islamism. Let’s see if the world demands their immediate release — even though they entered willingly, unlike the hostages still hidden beneath Gaza’s ruins. #GretaThunberg #Gaza #GazaFlottila #israel #hamaswashing

Dear Latvians, Israel is not what causes wars and loss of life in the Middle East. The root cause behind our problems in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Israel, Yemen and across the region has a name coined by Dr. Einat Wilf: Palestinianism. Palestinianism, in Wilf’s framework, is the belief system that defines Palestinian identity primarily through opposition to Israel, rather than through the creation of an independent, constructive political future. 97% of Latvia’s Jews were exterminated by the Nazis and their collaborators—yet today, Jews and Europe are writing a new chapter together. Do not stain it with uninformed slogans and hateful chants wrapped in a keffiyeh. Israel is the space the Jewish people created to raise their children in safety. After millennia of being told to “go back home,” they did. While Jews accepted sharing the land, Arab leaders rejected Jewish statehood and chose violence to destroy it. That violence has harmed Israelis—and devastated those who wage it. You once stood on the wrong side of history. Do better this time. #latvia #israel #middleeast JEWNITED.LV

No, the world doesn’t hate the Jews because of Israel. It hates them for all sorts of reasons. It hated them long before they established a state, and it will hate them long after. Imagine making the same statements made so casually in this video about Black people or Muslims, about gays or the disabled. Would anyone get away with it in the West? The world got away with massacring Jews countless times over millennia—and yet, even after the Holocaust, this shameless hatred persists. Sánchez doesn’t represent a fringe, after all. Shame on Spain. #spain #holocaust #neveragain

Some flotilla activists, including Greta Thunberg, were detained in Israel. Those who signed deportation papers were sent home quickly; others refused, prolonging detention to dramatize the incident. Israeli authorities say voluntary deportation was offered to all and many have already been deported. Officials also claimed the flotilla carried little or no real aid, which organizers dispute. Fair questions remain: Who financed this voyage, how much did it cost, and did it meaningfully help children in Gaza? What would help is pressing Hamas to accept a peace deal that ends the war. #freegazafromhamas🇮🇱 #gretathunberg #freedomflotilla

If something as simple as this can get you killed in Iran — injured, blinded, your daughter taken — then the choice is already obvious: stand with the people, not the oppressors. And yet the world still watches in silence. The UN Security Council has not taken decisive action against this violent crackdown. Major powers outside a few statements have not intervened or condemned this genocidal repression with forceful action. While Ukrainian leadership calls for global help and change, too many governments still treat this like a diplomatic footnote instead of a human catastrophe. Help the people — or don’t pretend to care. #iran #iranprotests #tehran #freeiranfromislamicrepublic #alleyesoniran❤️🤍💚

If Jews have the right to live in Tel Aviv, they also have the right to live in Judea — the historic heartland of the Jewish people. The region is home to numerous archaeological sites that document a continuous Jewish presence dating back thousands of years. #judea #jews #telaviv #israel #jewishhistory

He grew up in Soweto, 15 minutes from where the Freedom Charter was born. He knows what apartheid looks like. That’s why when he went to Israel, he didn’t look for headlines—he looked with his eyes. ‘What I saw on the news, and what I saw in Israel… it was different.’ Not every Jew is good. Not every Palestinian is good. Humanity is not black or white—like he said, a cat is a cat. 🐾 And when I asked him: Is Israel an apartheid? He looked at me and said: Nope. #southafrican #Soweto #southafrica #Apartheid #Israel
