Pretty shocked. Christopher Morel, 26, has his issues but its elite bat speed and power. He seemed like he didn't have a path to regular playing time in TBR. zCon isn't great so its lightning in a bottle, and if he can find a defensive home, its a 3+ WAR player, easily.

Justin-Henry Malloy, 25, is a surefire waiver claim. In fact, teams might skip the line to trade for him. He's performed well at every MiLB stop and had a .955 OPS at AAA in 2025. Pretty solid floor player (OF), and there's more optimization to be done. 2 MiLB option years.

While everyone is clamoring to get Ketel Marte, I feel like Gabriel Moreno, 25, is the real prize in AZ (not named Corbin Carroll / Brandon Pfaadt). Its above-avg defense coupled w/ near elite plate discipline. If he hits for more damage, then he's a Top 5 Catcher / All-Star:

Here's a lottery ticket FA: Alexander Canario, 25. He's your typical slugger: whiffs a decent amount / lower contact rates / valuable contact when made. The tools are staggering: 91 mph arm strength, 76 mph bat speed, and plus athleticism. All this + he's going to be cheap.

Jack Suwinski, 27, has been DFA'd. Not too long ago, Suwinski was a 3 WAR player. Good swing traits, three-true outcome guy, + around avg defense. Recently, he closed his stance off, got hurt, and performed worse versus heaters. He had solid work at AAA this year; FA in 2027.
