Lehigh QB Hayden Johnson (Hayden_johnson09) built on his strong late-season stretch from 2024, helping lead the Mountain Hawks back to the playoffs in 2025. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania native earned First Team All-Patriot League honors after passing for 2,510 yards, 18 TDs, and just 6 interceptions. Utica QB Tyler Szalkowski (Tyler Szalkowski) had a fantastic 2025 season for the Pioneers, earning Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year honors along with being named a Gagliardi Trophy semifinalist. Listed at 6'3, 225 lbs, the Rochester, New York native completed 285 of 421 passes (68%) for 33 TDs and 7 INTs. Transfer Portal Entry: Former Hope College Edge Liam Danitz (Liam Danitz) earned First Team All-American honors from the AFCA after putting up some ridiculous production in 2025. A West Branch, Michigan native, Danitz destroyed opposing offensive lines to the tune of 46 tackles, including 21 for loss and 15 sacks. North Central QB Garret Wilson(Garret Wilson) transferred in from Oklahoma State and continued to power the machine that is North Central. The Edmond, Oklahoma native led the Cardinals all the way to the National Championship game while earning AP Second Team All-American honors in the process. Mount Union QB Mikey Maloney(Mikey Maloney ✰) looks poised to be the next star QB in the D3 ranks. The Concord Township, Ohio native earned First Team All-OAC honors after a breakout 2025 season in which he completed 197 of 278 passes (71%) for 2,769 yards with a terrific 31:3 TD-to-INT ratio. UW-River Falls QB Kaleb Blaha (Kaleb Blaha) cemented himself in Falcons folklore, leading the program to its first D3 National Championship on the back of a historic season. The Coon Rapids, Minnesota native captured the Gagliardi Award and became the first D3 QB to be named a Manning Award finalist. He threw for 4,971 yards with a 41:10 TD-to-INT ratio, while adding 1,218 rushing yards and 18 TDs on the ground. Youngstown State LT Desmeal Leigh(Desmeal Leigh) has been one of, if not the top tackle in the FCS over the past few years, earning 2nd Team All-MVFC and 3rd Team All-American ( honors in 2025. At 6’7”, 325 lbs, the Kent, Ohio native was a key part of QB Beau Brungard’s success during his Walter Payton Award-winning campaign. A terrific athlete with impressive strength and fluid movement, Leigh is light on his feet and shows an uncanny ability to recover when put in tough spots. North Dakota LT Trace Thaden(Trace Thaden) is one of the better tackles in the FCS and a key piece of the Fighting Hawks’ offensive success. The Omaha, Nebraska native helped anchor an OL unit that averaged 194.9 rushing yards per game while adding 192.4 through the air.
