Senator Peter Welch of Vermont blocked a vote to defund the Taliban. He objected to our bill to stop $40 million weekly cash shipments to the Taliban. It has now been revealed that his personal wealth has grown by 4,000 percent since he became a senator.

A few hours ago, the Taliban auctioned off $16 million US dollars in Kabul. Senator John Barrasso can stop the cash shipments to the Taliban at any time by scheduling our Defund the Taliban bill for a vote. Call (202) 224-6441.

A few hours ago, $40M arrived in Kabul. This cash was moved to Afghanistan International Bank by the UN’s on-the-ground Finance and Budget Officer. These U.S. dollars will be moved to the Taliban’s Central Bank and exchanged for Afghani currency. Cash shipments have not stopped.
