Some say it was to dodge Sabbath laws banning fizzy sodas—talk about a sweet rebellion! And here's a brain-tickler ( yes I began a sentence with and, sorry English teachers): Sunday is the first day of the week in the US calendar, but the last in Europe, proving time zones aren't the only thing dividing us.
