“It just gets behind his eyes” Tom Brady Tom Brady dropped a gem after JSN’s 4th-quarter drop, and I’m not sure everybody caught it. Not all drops are created equal. Darnold and JSN weren’t on the same page with the corner route’s angle, creating a “behind-the-eyes” catch that led to 4th-and-10. The box score says drop. The film tells the real story. Details matter. Here’s what Tom meant. The Pivot Sports on YouTube #ThePivotSports #JSN #DropBall

“What Kept you up last night?” I LOVED tackling when my body still allowed me to do it! 😂 So I pay close attention to it. Early in the season, DBs gotta understand space, angles, approach & leverage. I picked 4 plays from Week 1 to break down, & fredtaylor helped me bring the tackling mindset to life. Wish this would’ve helped me get HIM on the ground when we played… ‘cause that’s STILL what keeps me up at night! 😂 Pivot Podcast “The Pivot Sports” #ThePivot #ThePivotSports #Tackling #NFLfilms

Jalen Hurts wasn’t perfect yesterday in Tennessee, but when the moment demanded it, he was DANG GOOD. That final drive by the Philadelphia Eagles was a thing of beauty, and their Super Bowl MVP quarterback delivered when it mattered most. I couldn’t wait to break down every throw, play by play. That’s “What Kept Me Up Last Night.” And there was no way I was doing anything else before getting to this one today. @ThePivotSports Show Pivot Podcast #ThePivotSports #ThePivot #NFL #JalenHurts #FlyEaglesFly

You can’t give Josh Allen second chances. That’s exactly what happened to the Texans… and he’ll KILL you for it! So much happening on this play: Sting communicating the X nasty split, Calen Bullock eyeing Dalton Kincaid, Joshua Palmer getting into Lassiter’s blind spot — all capped by an absolute DIME from Josh Allen! I started breaking down Bijan Robinson and about 30 seconds in, I realized I had no business doing this by myself. 😂 So I phoned a friend… an 11,000-yard rusher and Hall of Fame finalist, Fred Taylor. One Top 10 pick breaking down another Top 10 pick. The detail, the vision, the why behind the runs… this was FUN to listen to! 🏈 @Thepivotsports on YouTube #ThePivotSports #ThePivot #Bijan #DirtyBirds

King and Bill Belichick once shared a close relationship. So close that King sat with Art Modell to convince him Belichick was the right man to lead the Cleveland Browns. Then came “Spygate”. Peter King believed Belichick knew exactly what was happening and had knowingly broken the rules. As a journalist, he reported it that way. For Belichick, that “was a bridge too far”. “Nuts on Bears” The Bears couldn’t stop the Packers no matter what Dennis Allen dialed up. And first downs weren’t enough for Green Bay. They wanted CHUNK PLAYS! Matt LaFleur called plays like “he took that personally” all day, and put Christian Watson and Jordan Love to work executing his evil plan. 😂 Can’t wait for Round 2! @ThePivotSports on YouTube. #ThePivotSports #ThePivot #Packers #Bears

Pablo Torre and I once had a one-sided beef. 😂 He called me asking about Bill Belichick and his relationship with Jordon Hudson, and I refused to comment. Pablo was cool with it, but I couldn’t understand why he was so fascinated by their relationship. His response was eye-opening. Pablo Torre 👀 had covered Belichick the way journalists cover Presidents. So seeing a historically private man suddenly everywhere with his woman by his side raised a question: Why? Pablo needed answers. Pivot Podcast on Netflix #ThePivot #PabloTorre #Belichick

If C.J. Stroud were some people’s favorite quarterback, the analysts, fan pages, and social media mixtapes would be singing his praises. Instead, his stellar play has been overlooked because Houston is 1-4. Outside of the loss to Cincinnati, where Nico Collins was unavailable, Stroud has positioned his team to win. They just haven’t gotten the stops when it mattered. With DeMeco Ryans leading the defense and Marvin Harrison Jr. joining the mix, Houston will look to make another run like last year. I know they have the quarterback to lead the way. @thepivotsports on YouTube #ThePivotSports #CJStroud #HoustonTexans

“We all treated football at some point… like it was a side b*tch” Coach Jerry Kill once told the Baltimore Ravens, “If I die, I’d be honored if Bart Scott raised my kids.” Bart Scott #CantWait 🏈 owes Jerry Kill for more than that endorsement. When Kill took over at Southern Illinois, Mike Vite told him Bart was a cancer. Kill chose to give Bart a chance to prove who he was. That decision became Bart’s blessing—and the beginning of a stellar career. Pivot Podcast on Netflix #ThePivot #BartScott #JerryKill #MikeVite

The caption could simply be… “F*ck Him.” But I’ll give y’all some context on Bart Scott. Michael Oher stole his movie — “F*ck Him.” Nick Saban stole his scholarship — “F*ck Him.” Bobby Williams tried to smooth it all over — “F*ck him” last! No wonder Bart Scott was called the Mad Backer. 😂 Pivot Podcast on Netflix #ThePivot #BartScott #NickSaban

Colin Kaepernick once believed Jay-Z could be an ally. But by the time the two finally spoke, Jay-Z’s deal with the NFL was already done. A leaked recording from a 2017 owners meeting captured Bills owner Terry Pegula saying the league needed a Black figure to help address the protests. Colin Kaepernick believes Jay-Z ultimately became that figure—using his enormous cultural influence to help the NFL move beyond the protest without addressing its core demands. The smear campaign against Jayden Daniels bothers me. Whatever your opinion on the NIL cease-and-desist, nothing changes the way Jayden has represented himself, his family, and LSU—with class and integrity. What bothers me even more is seeing former players and fans try to pit Jayden against Joe Burrow, as if one diminishes the other. Joe is the greatest Tiger to ever live. But what Jayden meant did in Death Valley deserves to be immortalized in Tiger lore, too. Pivot Podcast clips on YouTube. #ThePivot #JaydenDaniels #LSU #HeismanLegacy

“I don’t want to see Colin get thrown under the bus. I don’t want to see Jay get thrown under the bus.” When is it the right time to share what you know? That’s a question Charlamagne Tha God constantly has to wrestle with. When it came to Colin Kaepernick and Jay-Z, Charlemagne felt it was the right time, the right conversation, and he was the right person. Years ago, he sat across from Roger Goodell grilling him about Jay-Z and the NFL. This time, he found himself between Jay and Colin—and felt his truth could help. Some stories are bigger than sports—and Pablo Torre has a gift for recognizing when they are. Charles Don Flores is a death row inmate who loves the Cowboys. What began as a story about football fandom became something much deeper for Pablo Torre 👀 a story about humanity, due process, and the people behind a system that still needs change. That’s what makes Pablo’s mission so powerful. He doesn’t just tell stories—he shines a light where most people aren’t looking and reminds us that sometimes, the most important stories have nothing to do with the scoreboard. Kyren Lacy was supposed to be on a NFL field this weekend. That made it important to say “Kyren Lacy was innocent” on ESPN before the night ended. His name and face were plastered everywhere when he was under investigated. So it’s only right we say it now! There’s no amount of words that would bring him back, but someone needs to pay for the lies, deceit and evil he endured. R.I.P. brother. Always love! #KyrenLacy 🕊️

Pablo Torre’s investigation into Life Surge also raised questions about Tim Tebow. Life Surge used faith and sports to appeal to followers of both worlds. The question became simple: How much did Tim Tebow know? Tebow had appeared at more than 40 Life Surge events and was scheduled for more. Pablo Torre 👀 reached out to Tebow before publishing his investigation, & after the public backlash Tebow paused his relationship with Life Surge. “In my past life… I was a nudist” BigXthaPlug🦍 NEVER has a shirt on. Heck, I was shocked he even walked into Pivot Podcast with his jacket zipped up! Apparently, he’s the sexiest big man since… well, HIM! Clothes make him feel trapped, and in an alternate universe, this man would absolutely be a nudist! The wild part? Even the people who LIVE with him ain’t safe from all that big, sexy, nakedness! Somebody get this man a robe! 🤣 Live on Netflix #ThePivot #BigXthaPlug #Nudist #Rap

Jake Paul has accomplished a lot, but he’s tripping if he thinks he can do what Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, or JuJu Smith-Schuster did in the NFL. Confidence is one thing—earning it on Sundays is another. That said, nobody questions Jake’s belief in himself. He embraces losses as part of the journey. Even his company’s logo is a “W” with hidden “L”s because, as he says, “I turn all my losses into W’s.” - Jake Paul Pivot Podcast #ThePivot #JakePaul #NFL

If I had to do address Robert Griffin III again I wouldn’t include his wife. She didn’t need to be made an example of in order to make my point. I could have easily pointed to the positive impact a connection with black women had on the way you see, understand, & treat them. The optics of his video & personal history with RGII played a part in how I addressed him. I didn’t insult or attack her, but no matter the intent, & handling the impact was different. Let her & her family be. If you disagree with his takes, or even side with me on this one there’s no need to involve them. I involved her myself, & that’s on me.
