Walked into an empty gym. Turned on the lights. Got to work, & that’s a microcosm of this journey all started. Nobody to impress. No applause. No pressure to train. Just ME. Then it hit me… That’s exactly who I should’ve been doing it for any dang way. #GetSlimOrLiveTrying #ShirtAllTheWayTuckedIn #ChroniclesOfAfatman #RCconfessionals #ThereWillBeSigns

“Let’s be honest. Who you supported in 2008, 2012 is nowhere near as polarizing as who you support today” Jaxson Dart seems to be a good young man. He can support whoever he pleases, but that support affirms certain things to his locker room. Abdul Carter should have handled things differently, but his disappointment is understandable. The President has clearly picked a side, & standing next to him gives the impression that you have to. Which means you stand in direct opposition of the majority of your teammates. It’s a conversation to be had behind closed doors, but it is an important conversation. Pivot Podcast clips on YouTube. #ThePivot #JaxsonDart #AbdulCarter #NYGiants

“But I know him. I know he’s not a racist”- Kam Patterson on Tony Hinchcliffe During the roast of Kevin Hart, Tony Hinchcliffe faced intense criticism after a joke about George Floyd sparked outrage across much of the Black community. As a member of Kill Tony, Kam Patterson’s career has grown alongside Tony, but his perspective is rooted in knowing the man beyond the stage. Kam wants to be an advocate for the Black community in comedy. He admits he’s still growing into that responsibility, but on this one, he’s clear: he knows Tony’s character, and he doesn’t believe one night defines the man. “So I walk to my truck… & I see him tell his kids, ‘Nah that ain’t him’…” Might be time for a new ride. 😂 My family clowns me, nobody wants to pull up to events with me driving… and honestly, I’ve been cool with it. But what happened at Five Guys might’ve finally pushed me over the edge. I almost ran back in yelling, “No, no… it’s ME! I’m Ryan Clark!” 🤣🤣 Pivot Podcast 3 Man Friday #ThePivot #NewRides #Funny #Podcasts

Kyren Lacy was supposed to be on a NFL field this weekend. That made it important to say “Kyren Lacy was innocent” on ESPN before the night ended. His name and face were plastered everywhere when he was under investigated. So it’s only right we say it now! There’s no amount of words that would bring him back, but someone needs to pay for the lies, deceit and evil he endured. R.I.P. brother. Always love! #KyrenLacy 🕊️

Bruh… our parents and their crew seemed way more grown at our age. I’m 46 thinking I’d be on some wise OG timing by now. My pops and his homeboys had life figured out, rocked gators, strap sandals, and stayed crispy. Their music had soul and love. I’m over here in sweatpants, blasting foolishness. When does that skinny mustache maturity kick in? Fred Taylor & Channing Crowder tryna help me figure it out! Pivot Podcast Clips on YouTube! #ThePivot #OGs #OldHeads #Mature

If I had to do address Robert Griffin III again I wouldn’t include his wife. She didn’t need to be made an example of in order to make my point. I could have easily pointed to the positive impact a connection with black women had on the way you see, understand, & treat them. The optics of his video & personal history with RGII played a part in how I addressed him. I didn’t insult or attack her, but no matter the intent, & handling the impact was different. Let her & her family be. If you disagree with his takes, or even side with me on this one there’s no need to involve them. I involved her myself, & that’s on me. “If we’re going to respect one athlete’s political stance, we have to respect another’s.” What transpired in the Giants locker room was a lesson every locker room in America needs to learn, & both Jackson Dart & Abdul Carter were necessary to teach it. I initially I thought @abdu1carter could have handled things differently, but he proved me wrong. Without his tweet, important conversations never take place. Discomfort was the price of progress, & that tension created resolution. Pivot Podcast Pivotal conversations #ThePivot #JaxsonDart #AbdulCarter #NYGiants #PoliticsInSports

I don’t talk much about my sobriety, because it wasn’t supposed to be a thing. I mean, I didn’t think I had an addiction. Then it hit me. It doesn’t have to be an addiction to be a problem. I haven’t drank since Sept 9, 2022, but I made no announcements the day I stopped drinking. Maybe, that was to escape accountability. I’ve thought of taking a sip since, but it always comes back to, “what good has it ever done?”. So, here we are 3 years, 8 months later, & life is better. I am better! #MentalHealthAwareness #Sobriety #Addiction

I still remember the first time I got punched in the nose. Like Boots, I was undefeated… granted, I was 11. Then Shane caught me square in the face, and suddenly every life decision needed a review. 😂 Boots got clipped in the third round against Xander Zayas, but unlike my 11-year-old self, he never blinked. He stayed composed, trusted the process, and eventually dropped Zayas. His breakdown of what was going through his mind is proof that a champion’s mindset hits a little different than a young undefeated neighborhood legend’s. I walked off AT&T field in February of 2011 after losing the Super Bowl to Packers knowing 3 things. Aaron Rodgers was the best quarterback I’d ever played against, Mike T was the best coach I’d played for, & they’d both get back to the Super Bowl. One of those things turned out to be false. If this is where it ends for them it’s fitting it ends together. Both of their legacies are cemented. Congrats to them both. Excuse my voice! #SVP #SportsCenter #MikrTomlin #AaronRodgers #NFL

As I end this I need to apologize to my family. Yonka, Jaden, Jordan, & Loghan I am sorry. Until this week I didn’t realize how much you defend me, & deal with the fall out of my stuff. This week brought it all to a head. Yonka has been dragged the entire week, & Jaden who we raised in our home has been used as a pawn. Yonka didn’t deserve what happened to her this week. She’s a beautiful woman that’s devoted her life to our family. Shes never wanted to be out front, been the backbone of support. She raised Jaden as her own from the age of 4, & shown up for all 3 of our babies 100% of the time. She’s now started a career to help others. That’s who she is, & who I’ll allow her to be. I’ll do better guys! Pivot Podcast Pivotal Conversations. #ThePivot #PivotalConversations #Family #FatherHood

“In the moment it felt like it was coming at me. I was like… back up now” On October 26, 2004, Chad Chad Johnson Johnson had one of the biggest nights of his career against Champ Bailey—7 catches, 149 yards, and a 50-yard touchdown that left Champ Bailey on the turf. The locker room got tense afterward as Champ made one thing clear: one game doesn’t define who he is. Even the greatest get got. The difference is they never let one night rewrite their legacy. RGIII saying he could recognize “hate when ‘he’ see(s) it”, when referring to Angel Reese’s feelings toward Caitlin Clark was irresponsible, but not at all surprising. Clark’s the biggest star in women’s basketball, & deservedly so. No need to beat up Reese to add shine to it. RGIII plays into the narrative that Reese is the villain of Clark’s hero origin story. Now, Oberman & Portnoy, who berated Reese in college, have an ally in Griffin. Add him to the list of black men who’ve adopted the corny trend of denigrating black women to affirm their choices. Attacking Reese multiple times in order to gain favor from his desired crowd won’t help RGII blend in more. “Echoing the micro aggressions of racist won’t make him any less black than me”. I’m not sure what black woman experience Andrew Schulz 👑HEZI has had, but it hasn’t been the real “black girlfriend effect”. To insult black women and described them as complainers & abusive isn’t just untrue. It’s disrespectful. Even worse, James Duncan & Fuhad Dawodu allowing him to say it is more insulting. Andrew Schultz spoke that way in front of two black men because they allowed him to. They made him comfortable enough to disrespect black women because they didn’t force him to respect them. My experience is that black women are powerful, beautiful, strong, and supportive. They prioritize black family, community, & culture. They take steps back to push their men, and families forward. So, no Andrew the “black girlfriend effect” is nothing like what you described. I’m just upset that you don’t have enough solid black men around you to tell you differently!

“I call MJ. I say, ‘Black, I just saw you’… Tiger Woods” Howard “H” White remembers meeting Tiger Woods for the first time. Even then, you could see the fire instilled by his father, a Green Beret. Howard H. White has witnessed greatness at every turn, but only one person made him call Michael Jordan after seeing his mirror image. That man went on to become the greatest golfer of all time. 🐐 Pivot Podcast X Howard “H” White. #ThePivot #HowardHWhite #MichaelJordan #TigerWoods

“First meeting he walks up there, and he basically self proclaimed himself a prick”- Champ Bailey on Daniel Snyder During our sit-down, Champ admitted he was never Daniel Snyder’s guy. When LaVar Arrington and Chris Samuels—both drafted after him—received new deals first, the message was clear. Champ believed his play should speak louder than politics. It did… just not in Washington. Sometimes your value isn’t questioned—it just isn’t appreciated by the people in charge. Denver saw exactly what Washington overlooked. CJ Stroud is my Lil Bro. I love him. He had an awful outing yesterday, but miss me with questioning his future. I believe his play cost the Texans defense a historic playoff run, but people are forgetting he’s gotten the Texans to the Divisional round 3 years straight. The Patriots defense is on a heater. Where was all of this talk about quarterback’s future when they shut dominated Justin Herbert last week? CJ has to do some soul searching, he needs to progress, but he’s the Texans’ guy. It’s all about adding value going forward. #HoustonTexans #CJstroud #NewEngladPatriots #NFL
