Today is singer Linda Rondstadt’s birthday, who is from Tucson, Arizona. She is definitely NOT my fan and, in the past, she led a huge demonstration against me in front of my jails/tents. In protest, I forced all of my inmates to listen to her songs, which they hated. It seems the only inmates who liked her songs were illegal aliens! Rondstadt also attacks President Trump and me for our anti-illegal immigration policies. Protesting alongside Linda is former Democrat Maricopa County, Arizona Board of Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox who had traveled to Washington DC in 2008 with former Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon to file a complaint against my anti-illegal immigration enforcement operations. Their efforts, which they still brag about, made me an official target by the Obama/Biden administration in their “First 100 Days” in office report, and led to an investigation regarding a 17-year lawsuit known as the Melendrez case. Unfortunately for Wilcox and the Democrats, my anti-illegal immigration enforcement policies were recently vindicated by the US Supreme Court. It should be noted, at the time of Linda’s demonstration, “Fraudney” Glassman from Tucson, Arizona was running for US senate for Arizona and became the nominee for the Democratic Party that year. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rodney Glassman was there protesting against me too! Rodney Glassman has lost his last several elections in a row. In contrast, Warren Petersen, a real conservative running for Arizona Attorney General, has won all of his elections and has earned the prestigious privilege of being elected the President of the Arizona Senate. Nevertheless, I want to commend Linda’s Tucson, Arizona police chief brother for his dedicated service. Linda should have positive remarks about “America’s Toughest Sheriff” since in the year 2000, my Sheriff’s Office arrested and convicted a suspect to prison for stalking Linda for over 3 years. Ironically, one of her hit songs was “You’re No Good.” Also, one of Linda’s collaborators in music was Dolly Parton who sent me her autographed photo signed, “With Love.”

Today marks the birthday of actor, comedian and Democrat activist, George Lopez. Although I am no stranger to negative media, few instances of negative publicity could compare to the time in July 2012 when I was at home watching TV with my wife Ava, and after flipping the channel to HBO, I witnessed a vicious, foul-mouthed attack from George Lopez. Lopez evidently sets a horrible example, especially for the youth. Notably, George Lopez has been a big supporter of Kamala Harris for over 17 years and even spoke at her October 2024 campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently, I have a defamation lawsuit pending against Kamala Harris. In 2016, Lopez promised he would leave the USA if Donald Trump was elected president (see video). However, Lopez still has not left the country! Having served in many foreign countries around the world for the US Drug Enforcement Administration (Turkey, the Middle East, Mexico, Central and South America), I am familiar with many places I would be happy to help George Lopez self-deport to. If he leaves now, I will personally upgrade him to first class! I have offered many times to face George Lopez on stage, but he never had the guts. One more chance, George! George will always be a loser, and not a patriot!

While Sheriff, not only did I put USA flags in all the jail cells, but I introduced the national anthem to be played every day/night including at "Tent City" where I held ceremonies with the veteran inmates (like in this video) to honor our great country!🇺🇲 We need more of this!

I closely followed the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas, Texas this week and I thoroughly appreciated the remarks and optimism of President Donald Trump (the only hero I’ve had in my lifetime)! I was also impressed with the support President Trump received from the other speakers, including the US Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, whose courage, loyalty, and management skills makes him one of the greater Speakers of the House. As a matter of interest to me, I noticed Speaker Johnson mentioned that the Democrat Party has been taken over by far-left radicals such as Bernie Sanders. This brought back memories of my encounter with Senator Sanders’ wife Jane, and the feud that ensued between me and her husband. When I was the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona for 24 years, Jane Sanders held a press meeting in front of my Tent City jail in Phoenix. Since I was already next door, finished with my volunteer Sheriff’s posse meeting, I personally invited Mrs. Sanders to tour the facility and speak freely with the inmates. Subsequently, when her presidential candidate husband heard about this, he became very agitated and went after me relentlessly, accusing me of using his wife to score political points. When Brahm Resnik, a seasoned journalist, questioned Senator Sanders in-studio about his wife’s meeting with me, Sanders angrily stormed out of the interview. Later at a Bernie Sanders presidential campaign rally in Arizona, the out-of-control senator promised to the crowd, “When I become president, watch out Joe!” I have been in action for so long I could go back 60+ years with my institutional knowledge and connect my law enforcement background to the important issues of today. Bernie Sanders has a long history of far-left political activism, and before he became mayor of Burlington, Vermont, I was covering New England as the deputy director of the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from 1974-1978. Even though Sanders promoted legalizing drugs while I was fighting against drug trafficking, he should be thanking me for my work protecting his home state of Vermont and the country! Evidently, he is obsessed with my name because of my fight against illegal immigration, dangerous drugs, and other crimes. Lastly, I want to congratulate Senator Sanders on his 85th birthday on September 8th. I personally wrote this press release, and I am nearly 10 years older than this radical senator. I suggest Bernie Sanders gives his career a rest, go back to his hometown of Burlington, and work for the well-known ice cream company headquartered there instead. He could use my name as a reference. And while he is at it, he should tell them to make an ice cream flavor after my favorite food, chicken livers sauteed! But since I am officially a Duke of Italy, I will settle for Italian spumoni!

Recently in Nevada, Senator Gallego was filmed attacking my illegal immigration enforcement tactics and compared them to President Trump’s policies. Over the years, I have battled with Ruben Gallego many times since he has been a major voice against ICE and the enforcement of illegal immigration laws. Ruben Gallego led efforts to try to recall me and he also attempted to revoke my pardon given to me by President Trump. Ruben Gallego received donations from the owners of the local weekly newspaper, who solicited sex and prostitution through Backpage. com. I investigated and arrested the owners, who were later prosecuted and convicted by the FBI and by California’s attorney general at the time, former vice president Kamala Harris. Gallego claims he protects US veterans, but he has devoted his career to attacking me, a veteran. I volunteered for the US Army at 18 years old at the start of the Korean War and served 11 years with the military. Some news media are attempting to program Gallego to be the future president of the United States, even though he is not the brightest in the US senate. He can’t even respect the office of commander in chief. I was in law enforcement for over 50 years, and could say with certainty that there is currently a war on cops. President Trump and I have been on the same wavelength, and he is the one and only hero in my lifetime. I am calling for a full criminal investigation into Eric Swalwell (who recently resigned from congress after multiple sexual assault allegations) and his close ally, Senator Ruben Gallego. If Senator Gallego is guilty of misconduct, he must resign immediately!

On July 15, 2026, Senator Gallego continued his attacks on me while speaking before a Latino activist group, NALEO, because of my fight against illegal immigration and took credit for causing me to lose my 2016 election after I served Maricopa County for 24 years as the longest serving sheriff in county history. It should be noted that Gallego tried to recall me from office and he revoke my pardon from President Trump for misdemeanor contempt of court. If Senator Gallego is guilty of misconduct he should resign immediately. Gallego cleverly leaves out the fact that the US Supreme Court recently vindicated me of using race as a criterion for my immigration crackdowns from the flood of millions of illegal aliens caused by Obama and Biden. Gallego is also concerned that I bring up the activities of him and his close friend, former Congressman Eric Swalwell. Gallego’s main campaign issues are criticizing ICE and supposedly taking care of our veterans. In recent media, the Department of Homeland security is being blasted for playing a video montage of ICE arresting and deporting illegal aliens using Frank Sinatra’s rendition of “Jingle Bells.” Years ago, I used to fill in for a local radio station and would always open the show with Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” In response, Frank’s daughter, Nancy, directly threatened legal action against me for playing her father’s song. A second time Nancy threatened me for promoting a fan-made video montage of my policies and accomplishments to Sinatra’s “My Way.” Since then, I switched to a different rendition of my favorite song sung by someone I have dealt with personally: Elvis Presley. In 1957, when I was a Law Vegas police officer, I stopped Elvis Presley for excessive speeding and brought him to the police station jail. I believe that, unlike Sinatra, Elvis Presley would be a supporter of President Trump. It should be noted that in 2018, President Trump posthumously gave Elvis the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the USA. In 2015, while campaigning with Donald Trump on his airplane, I mentioned to him that the song “My Way” by Frank Sinatra best personifies him. Afterwards, the song was played at two of President Trump’s inaugural balls (in 2016 and 2024) and while leaving The White House for his home in Florida on January 20, 2021. I recall after Trump’s inaugural ball, Nancy Sinatra morbidly said "Just remember the first line of the song: and now the end is near." My message to Nancy is a quote from the poet, Hans Christian Andersen, "Where words fail, music speaks." This isn’t the end for Trump. The best is yet to come!
