Stardust Solutions plans to inject 1–5 million tons (Mt) of proprietary blend of silica particles & unknown aerosols into the stratosphere annually for solar geoengineering — scaling to 10 Mt/year. This will block the Sun at a global scale. This requires building hundreds of 250kt/yr production plants. The scale of this private $75 million back initiative is enormous. Do we the public consent? Who’s providing oversight and regulations?
