Minneapolis is on fire right now - I sincerely hope the rest of the country takes note of this and organizes in tandem. No matter how well armed the police or ICE is, they cannot possibly withstand such movements when they spread and erupt in parallel - which I pray happens. The proletariat have shown time and time again it can survive and thrive on its own when sufficiently organized, but the ruling class by definition, cannot - their very existence necessitates class domination through the state and its entities like the police and ICE. They’re a parasite, and this fact has to be reiterated at every opportunity.

One of the principal contradictions of capitalism is that it destroys the two central pillars it needs to generate wealth: nature & labour. Nature, it mutilates into crippling oblivion. Labour, it exploits and immiserates into depredation. I always think back to Castro on this.

If it's friendly to western capital, its a legitimate state/government no matter what other abuses its guilty of. If it's hostile to western capital, it is considered an illegitimate, dictatorial, authoritarian regime, no matter what its actual character may be. That is all.

I never want to hear about “Soviet gulags” from Liberals and anti-communists ever again when an entity like CECOT (El Salvador prison) not only exists, but is enshrined with the blessings of the US and its Capitalist class. The US prison system is brutal enough already (~23% of the world prison population) but this is so overt, so in-your-face, that it’s hard to fathom this is not only happening, but is being cheered on.

This "debate" is crazy and #2 is just off his rocks, holy moly! He thinks: --Neocons/Conservatives aren't extreme right enough --Police are Left-wing and are taking orders from "Liberal-Marxists" (I wish!) --The Right needs to go gloves off, discard the rule of law and go full on tribal warfare!
