This time last year, I jumped out of a plane over the Palm in Dubai. What an absolute rush and what an incredible 12 months it’s been for Ripple and for me personally since then. Reflection is so important. Taking a moment to look back reminds us how far we’ve come, the challenges we’ve navigated, and the wins (big and small) along the way. Gratitude keeps everything in perspective. I’m thankful for the opportunities that came our way, the amazing team that makes it all possible, the incredible XRP community supporting us, and the entire journey with all its highs and lows. But remember, through it all, we stay locked in on the goals. Here’s to another year of building, evolving, and soaring. There’s a lot to do! We’re so early 🚀 P.s - I had to wear my favourite T-shirt for the occasion 😎

Great to join Dubai Eye’s #BusinessBreakfast yesterday to discuss Ripple's new DFSA license with Tom Urquhart. This is a huge milestone for Ripple in the Middle East, enabling us to meet growing demand for regulated crypto-enabled payments from the DIFC, and reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global digital assets and fintech hub. It was a great discussion - we covered what this license means in terms of faster and cheaper cross-border transactions for UAE Financial Institutions, corporates and their customers, the surging demand for blockchain tech in the region, and the work we're doing with DIFC Innovation Hub to support Dubai's burgeoning crypto ecosystem.
