The weather balloon sampled the compressed eye of category 2 Hurricane Isaias before arrival of a sting jet, pushing the balloon rapidly west-to-east along the coast east of Destin. The balloon then surged upward passed 54,000 feet with arrival of the cold pool of air aloft This science mission was made possible with an all-night build by extreme engineer Will Clay #stormchasing #science
