Today, Rep. Ilhan Omar Kelly Morrison and I attempted to exercise our Congressional right to conduct oversight on the Whipple ICE detention center in Minnesota. When I told them their refusal to let me in was illegal, they said “we don’t care.” Trump’s ICE is lawless. I won’t stop pushing for answers for Minnesotans.

Today, Rep. Ilhan Omar and I conducted an oversight visit at the Whipple building. We were required to give seven days notice. When we arrived, ICE had moved every single detainee out of the facility. They don’t want us to see what’s really going on here. And they certainly don’t want us to hear the stories of those who are detained. I will not stop pushing to hold Kristi Noem and her rogue agency accountable. Minnesotans deserve answers.
