I was actually at #Essence this year (first time). I didn’t see all the African stuff people were talking about. I didn’t see the jollof v. Jambalaya. Heck I barely saw ANY food! Had to go out to eat. I had a good old Black American Freedman time. I maybe saw 2 Dashikis. (1/2)
