SPLC can instantly label Christian conservatives like Family Research Council as "hate groups” for supporting traditional marriage. Ask how many Islamic groups are on their hate map? Suddenly they can't answer the question. Rep. Roy: "So you think there's a bunch of Islamic groups that are pro-LGBTQ?"

Rep. Roy: "The truth is, our whole budget has grown from about 3.6 trillion a decade ago to 7.2 trillion. Now it's doubled and everybody wants to applaud themselves for $160 billion of reductions and increases? I'm sorry, I don't think that's good enough."

Rep. Roy: "It is absolutely offensive to the people that we represent that the Senate would send over a bill that doesn't fund Border Patrol and the core components of ICE. Could the Senate be any more lazy than to send to us a bill that doesn't do the job and then leave town? So we're going to stand up and say NO to that. We're going to send back a bill that's responsible to the American people."

Rep. Roy: "We also shouldn't be ignoring the fact we have codified NOTHING of what the President has done. This Republican Congress has not done what we did in H.R. 2, has not dealt with asylum, has not dealt with parole, has not dealt with catch and release. We need to do more than just clean up the sloppy mess the Democrats are creating and actually deliver for the American people."

Rep. Roy on the kill switch: "Do you really want to put that kind of data collection mandated inside every car? At what point is there just literally no privacy at all anywhere? A lot of Americans died to protect our Fourth Amendment rights so that we don't have government looking at our stuff."

Rep. Roy in House Rules Committee: “Now we're sitting here, and we're listening to nonsense about health care, where my colleagues on the other side of the aisle sit here saying, 'Well, you guys aren't doing anything about the massive, expensive cost of health care.' Why do you think it's expensive? Because you literally cut a deal with insurance companies to run health care... And yet, Republicans will complain about it, and then they'll offer milquetoast garbage like we're offering this week, and then go home at Christmas and say, 'Look at what we're doing, we’re campaigning on reducing health care.' Well, congratulations. At some point people will look at this body and say, 'Maybe we should get rid of all 435 members of the House and all 100 members of the Senate, and start over, because Congress is literally failing the American people.'”

Rep. Roy: “When the floods were hitting the people that I represent, it took NPR through Texas Public Radio 19 hours to post anything about the flooding on its social media. What was NPR and TPR doing in the interim? They were playing a program, a DC based program, lobbying Congress for billions of dollars to continue their funding… Private stations in the communities, in which I live were there for the people of Texas, they were there presenting the information necessary, and the public stations were completely MIA.”

Rep. Roy: "I've got a bill that I'm going to be introducing that is a freeze on ALL immigration. Freeze it until we achieve certain objectives: reforming chain migration, ending H-1B visas, getting birthright citizenship dealt with, and vetting people for their adherence to Sharia law."

Rep. Roy to Stephen A Smith: "The only insurance I can get as a member of Congress is Obamacare. People don't know that... I had cancer in 2011 and I went to MD Anderson in Houston. It's one of the best cancer hospitals in the world. Guess what? I can't go there now. MD Anderson is no longer on the Obamacare plan. That's a problem. We're not giving people real solutions. We got to stop pretending that the current system is working. It's not."

Rep. Roy: "It was in fact President Trump's administration in 2019 that federally indicted Epstein in July of 2019. It was in fact the Trump administration that was going after [Ghislaine] Maxwell and set the stage for her indictment. It was in fact the Trump administration, along with Oversight Committee led by Republicans that have released tens of thousands of pages of documents this year through the appropriate path of subpoena and making sure that more information is public. In a hearing that I was sitting in right next door in the Oversight Committee while I personally was questioning Michael Cohen, we had a Democratic member of that committee that was texting in real time with already convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein."

Rep. Roy: "You can believe whatever you want, but you cannot engage in what is a political effort to Islamify the United States of America and not expect us to fight back." Tomorrow, Rep. Roy leads a House Judiciary GOP 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 hearing on the threat posed by Sharia law. Tune in:

Rep. Roy: "I find it absolutely extraordinary that in the same week we found out the FBI literally told higher-ups at the Department of Justice and the White House that there was not probable cause to engage in a raid at Mar-a-Lago on the former president of the United States, we are somehow going to enter that fray and not acknowledge the extent to which the abuse of power and the abuse of authority by the Biden administration and his Department of Justice was extraordinary, historic, corrupt, and worthy of note. If my colleagues want to venture into a debate about lawfare, we will be happy to talk about the Manhattan DA; we'll be happy to talk about Fani Willis; we'll be happy to talk about Jack Smith. We will be happy to talk about 'Arctic Frost'—not because we're happy they occurred, but because the American people are offended at the assault on President Trump, on the members of this body, and on the people of the United States."
