On the ground in Kyiv, the news from the front lines in Ukraine is mixed. Ukrainian forces have fought Russia to a standstill, and Russia is paying a much higher price in losses on the battlefield. Since Putin can't win that fight, he's turned to terrorism instead, bombing grocery stores, shopping malls and gas stations to break Ukraine's economy and terrorize its people. For every four ballistic missiles Russia is making, we're producing one Patriot. This is the new fight, and America needs to stand up and lead the free world.

The Pentagon blindsided Poland and pulled an armored brigade out of Eastern Europe while Russia is still waging war in Ukraine. This sends a weak message to Putin and is a slap in the face to our NATO allies. We need answers and accountability from DoD.

I’ve been very supportive of POTUS on Iran & believe getting rid of Maduro was good. But I’ve been appalled by this Admin's tone, rhetoric, tactics & strategy toward Europe. Denigrating our allies has been terrible. Weakness communicated to Putin has caused grave damage. Passive-aggressive communication toward President Zelenskyy is embarrassing. I hear from our allies about the damage this has done & it’s going to take time to repair.

We are blessed to have Canada as an ally & trading partner. I’ve spoken with local businesses, and talking down to our neighbor or making “51st state” comments has not helped Nebraska or gained America one advantage. We should treat this relationship with the seriousness & respect it deserves.

Pulling out of NATO would be a disaster for decades to come. Our alliances have already been damaged, and trust with our closest partners has been weakened. We need our allies to deter Russia, China, and Iran, and to address threats worldwide. America alone is a weaker America.

We don't have all the details yet, but it's sounding more like a Russian plan for Ukraine. Negotiating without Ukraine is a lot like Munich 1938. It makes Ukraine weaker & vulnerable to future Russian attacks. It's unacceptable & a surrender to Putin. We must have moral clarity.

The Baltic states are our closest allies. No one loves America more. They spend more on defense than we do. Cutting their security assistance is wrong and is leading us down a terrible path that will be a black chapter in history. The President is being ill-served by DoD leaders.

I support negotiations, but we should not act like referees between two equal sides. Ukraine is a democracy under attack. Russia is the aggressor, bombing cities, killing POWs, and kidnapping children. There is a right and wrong here, and we should be clear about it.

The Secretary of Defense has the legal right to hire & fire whom he wants, but that doesn’t make it morally right or wise. Firing a large number of senior officers & canceling many promotions demands an explanation. Americans deserve to know why. It is called decency to tell a person why they’re fired.

I respect differences of opinion on Iran, but blaming the “Israeli lobby” for the war echoes some of the oldest anti-semitic tropes, dating back centuries, the false idea of a hidden Jewish cabal secretly controlling our country. That has no place in our party. I will not be a bystander when I hear this racism.

We are the leader of the free world and we’ve spent nearly 80 years in that role. I think it would be a grave error to walk away from this leadership role. As it is often said, America is great because we are good. If we ever cease to be good, we’ll also cease to be great.

.Vice President JD Vance should get the heck out of Hungary & focus on Iran. My family is from Hungary—a freedom-loving country that rose up against the Soviets in 1956. Today Orban has aligned Hungary closer to Russia & undermined NATO. Regardless we shouldn't interfere in other countries' elections. That’s what Russia & China do.

A Russian victory in Ukraine will cost us more as other nations like Moldova, Georgia, and Azerbaijan could fall next. Ukrainians are doing the fighting, but they need our weapons support to survive. Standing up to bullies is essential for our national security interests.
