Voter ID is not controversial. 83% of Americans support it. Yet Democrats continue to act like that overwhelming consensus doesn’t exist. The House passed the SAVE America Act. The Senate should do the same and send it to the President’s desk ASAP.

Americans under investigation deserve to know when the government accesses their data. My bill, the NDO Fairness Act, restores transparency by requiring notice and tightening the standards on non-disclosure orders. I thank Rep. Jim Jordan for bringing it before the Judiciary Committee today, especially after revelations that Special Counsel Jack Smith obtained the cell phone records of Members of Congress and then blocked notification of the search with an NDO.
