In 2019, I called out Russia’s intentional bombardment of hospitals in Syria and noted the truth that there was no solution for the conflict in Syria as long as brutal Assad remained in power. It was for this reason that the Assad regime declared me “enemy of the state,” along with spearheading the Caesar sanctions with my colleagues and leading the charge against normalization of Assad. Today, with Assad out, Iran has withdrawn from Syria, ISIS is decimated, Russia’s presence is a shell of what it was, and 3.5 million Syrians have returned to their homes one the largest return movements of the 21st century. On top of it all new energy projects and pipelines create an alternative to the Strait of Hourmouz weakening Iran’s ability to wreck havoc on the world economy. Grateful for President Trump, Amb Barrack and their leadership!

I am grateful that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Parliamentary Assembly has graciously agreed to host its 2027 annual session in Charleston. The assembly of the OSCE will bring over 300 parliamentarians from 57 countries to draft, debate, and vote on resolutions.

There’s really only one reason why War Criminal Putin invaded Ukraine and it’s because he wants to recreate the Failed Soviet Union. It has nothing to do with NATO. Russia has had a border with NATO since 1949 called Norway. NATO ally Finland has an 830 mile border with Russia.

President Donald J. Trump is right—War Criminal Putin is not doing so well. His planned three-day invasion of Ukraine is now nearly three years old. Putin would be better off ending his war. He can end it immediately simply by withdrawing from Ukraine’s sovereign territory.

I spoke on the House floor about how the anti-American Georgian Dream party supports the terrorist regime in Iran. Recently, on March 2nd, the Georgian Dream party expressed condolences on the death of the Iranian supreme mass murderer Khamenei. The people of Georgia deserve to live free of China, Iran, and Russia.

I spoke on the House floor about how the courage of Iranian people in the face of the murderous Tehran Regime helped inspire President Donald J. Trump to take action. Since nationwide protests began in December, the Regime has mercilessly killed as many as 30,000 Iranian people, including a 19-year old wrestler and a 27-year old music student.
