🚨 The Supreme Court just let Alabama Republicans change the rules and use a racist congressional map for this year’s midterm elections. It’s time for us to organize, mobilize, and vote like we’ve never voted before!

We are here in Alabama standing together and fighting back against attempts to silence Black voters!

I just got some very troubling news.

We cannot allow a handful of extremists to rewrite history and reverse generations of progress. We demand fair representation!

Outrageous. Republicans just blocked my amendment to make Election Day a federal holiday so that parents and working Americans can get to the polls. Once again I ask… what are my Republican colleagues so afraid of???

The end of an era. The Alabama delegation paid our respects to Lt. Col. George Hardy, the last surviving Tuskegee Airman to fly combat missions in WWII. We owe him—and all the Tuskegee Airmen—an enormous debt of gratitude. May he rest in peace and power. 🙏🏾

750,000 Alabamians rely on SNAP to put food on the table. If Trump won’t work with us to reopen government, his administration should immediately release the $5 billion in emergency SNAP funds. We cannot let families go hungry!

President Trump told us he would lower costs on day one. But as I go grocery shopping, all I see are higher prices! Promises made, promises broken.
