Jack is 20 years old with no signs of slowing down. He now has a problematic ankle that we are sparing no expense on keeping him comfortable on. Not for our use but because he does not handle life at the farm well. He is happiest with a purpose and just being around the barn. I have had him in my life since he was a yearling and owned him since he was 3. It is not a thought I want to have that he is getting up there in age.

We call this “so you want to be an exercise rider”. Belladonna Racing Partnership Cromwell is always a handful exiting the track. He had a monster work this am and still can’t contain himself. He walks quietly to the track, stands, behaves galloping it’s just here. I know there are a lot of real horse trainers that will inevitably comment, we have tried everything…the pony has been mounted, correcting him only encourages the antics. Once he is a few feet from the track he settles down.

I could post the same cringe gym selfie or show results…..that my friends is 703#’s. My orthopedist ( Tony Infante ) warned me not to go too far down to risk breaking the post in my knee replacement so this is as good as it gets for this former gym obsessed woman
