The Somali Government Interferes with U.S. Elections Somali foreign agents and non-citizens organized, participated in, and directed the activities of Minnesota’s DFL Somali Caucus at DFL headquarters. In this footage from the 2023 Somali DFL Caucus, registered foreign agent Farhio Khalif (Agent #7314) appears to be officiating the caucus election at DFL headquarters. Also present: Abdul Dahir Ibrahim, a Somali national ordered removed from the U.S. in 2004 and arrested by ICE in 2025. Ibrahim is a known associate of Tim Walz, Ilhan Omar, and other Minnesota DFL officials. The footage also shows an unregistered foreign agent for Somalia, Anwar Yare / Mohamed Mohamed Basaso, officiating the caucus election with Khalif. Khalif and Basaso are part of the same Somali and DFL political network linked to Mahmoud Omar Isse, who is a known al-Shabaab supporter, raising further questions about the individuals connected to the Somali government and Minnesota DFL organizing. Yassin Osman advises the Prime Minister of Somalia while also serving on Minnesota’s Metropolitan Council—a government body involved in planning and implementing critical infrastructure across the Twin Cities. The Metropolitan Council’s own website highlights his advisory role with the Somali government. That raises questions that deserve direct answers. If Osman’s work on behalf of the Somali government triggers federal foreign-agent registration requirements, why isn’t he registered with the DOJ? The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department provided security for the Khaatumo government of Somalia during a celebration marking the anniversary of their government's recent founding. That's a government that was established with the help of Abdi Madobe, an al-Shabaab commander and general in the Khaatumo Army. This army even has a former Minnesota resident in a leadership position (Yassin Xuff). Mahmoud Omar Isse (xiirrey) is the leader of the Khaatumo government in the U.S. and he's an unregistered foreign agent and al-shabaab supporter. Isse even disclosed that there is a secret Somalian police organization operating in Minnesota. Yet these cops are dancing around with these anti American invaders.
