While farmers in rural Telangana are fighting for water for their crops, a different kind of water war is unfolding in Hyderabad. Members of Ganesh Utsava Samiti broke down the barricades put up by the government to stop Nimajjanam in Hussain Sagar. The honourable High Court of Telangana directed the government to ensure that no idol immersion can happen at Tank Bund, Hyderabad. Telangana High Court in 2023 gave directions making it clear that PoP (plaster of paris)Ganesh idols should not be immersed in Hussain Sagar or other water bodies within Hyderabad limits and no idol immersion can happen in Upper Tank Bund area. There are alternative arrangements for idol immersion in the city - but who cares about environment.

Amarnath Goud, got into a heated argument with VOA Madhavi over funds belonging to women’s savings group, during a Grama Sabha in Mallepalli village. “Please wake up daddy, what do I do without you?” - Father of Harshavardhan Harshavardhan, a class 8 students of Government school in Shetturu, Kalyandur, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh died last night after the hostel wall collapsed. Another student Akshay also was grievously injured in the incident. Last week when a student in a private school died of heart attack after his teacher punished him, the entire cabinet of Andhra Pradesh was talking about it. They gave passionate speeches on how schools should function. But last night’s death of a 8th grade student in government run hostel is not even a topic of discussion because - in this case they are answerable. The responsibility lies with the government.

Meet Mynampally Rohit, first time MLA from Congress. Of course, a Nepo kid with zero understanding of politics or basic commons sense. Represents Medak Assembly constituency. Never saw him do one good thing for his constituents. Always busy making reels, stupid statements & showing off his fancy car collection. Last time he went viral, he was warning police officials to not restrict DJ volume levels. 🤷🏻♀️ Last night he went to RTV Telugu media office and was showing off his power because they aired a story on his alleged land khabjas and illegal real estate deals. He isn’t denying, he is plainly threatening. If he had the guts he should have requested the channel for an interview and sat inside the studio, clarified his position, instead of behaving like a thug threatening journalists and yelling on police.

DAY 30: Aston Martin Hit & Run Case Remember how a 26 year old Lifestyle salesperson Bharati Mukhi from Odisha died in Madhapur, Hyderabad after Janasena MP Lingamaneni Ramesh’s son Lingamaneni Sanjush mowed her down. It has been THIRTY days since this broad daylight death happened. Chargesheet yet to be filed. No arrests. No CCTV footage. No nothing. Here is a video of Lingamaneni family’s Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations yesterday. Nice happy family. I wish God blesses them well. Meanwhile, I tracked down the family of Bharati Mukhi to a very remote part of Odisha. Spoke with Bharati’s elder brother, Rajani Kantha Mukhi who is a farm labourer. Her mother is also a farm labourer but has been bedridden since Bharati’s death. Her youngest brother is studying. Her brother tells me that they got a call saying she died in a road accident. The police called to tell that they are sending her in an ambulance and you have to pay the charges. No financial assistance from her company or the Government of Telangana or Government of Odisha or anyone at all. The family had to borrow money for Bharati’s final rites. They have no clue what car at what speed or which brat mowed their sister down. Lingamaneni family ensured everyone in the media is silent. Not a word. But they didn’t have the heart to even help the poor girl’s family somehow. “Come home and see where and how we live madam. Do you think we would have sent her that far if we could lead our lives somehow? We don’t know where Hyderabad is, we don’t know which rich man’s son killed my sister, we don’t know how to approach a police station or what even is justice. We don’t know what is happening with the case & I cannot travel to Hyderabad”, he told me. Bharati was their hope at a decent life and now she is gone. It was her mistake to step out on a road to buy lunch. A lunch she never even ate.

Found her name. She is Disha from Hyderabad. She reached Delhi. From the airport took a rapido and directly and reached the protest site. She is there with the protesting students. She says she is safe and absolutely fine. The moment she landed in Delhi, she called her mother and explained everything to her. The reason she didn’t tell her parents- they wouldn’t agree if she told beforehand. But she also kept a trusted friend in loop throughout, sharing her updates and everything. Disha met lovely people on her way…who gave her water, nuts and everything so that she can stay hydrated. Disha is from the land of Rudrama Devi, Sammakka Saralamma, Chakali Ailamma. Women from Telangana held a bandook and fought in peasant uprising decades ago. They are made of stronger stuff ❤️ Super proud of Disha 🔥❤️ And I know you will make all our voices heard. SHOW US PROOF OF MENSTRUATION! 19 year old Varshini, a student of Government College, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad was late to college. Lecturers refused to let Varshini into the classroom. She told her lecturer that she is on her period and hence got delayed. The great lecturer wanted proof of her menstruation and according to Varshini’s classmates demeaned her and abused her saying she was “acting”! Severely distressed by this, Varshini went back home. As per reports, she collapsed immediately after reaching home and her parents rushed her to the hospital. She was declared dead on arrival due to a clot in her brain! Everyday there is a brazen daylight murder, stabbing in and around Hyderabad, Telangana for the past few days. But where are the police? Well as always, they are busy in political cases and chasing social media posts. Today, since 4am, police have been sitting outside BRS leader Krishank Manne’s house. For a tweet against the police about assault attempt on KTR’s PA Mahesh & PS Mahendar inside a police station. Krishank’s daughter won’t be able to attend exam today because if she goes out- police will barge into their house. The brazenness with Telangana is being converted into a police state is beyond comprehension. I don’t think such events are unfolding even BJP ruled states like UP. May be! Telangana is now the new UP..!!!

Because Selling Tea Is A Crime!!! 58 year old Polasa Sudhakar, a chai vendor went to the Bheemgal Police Station in Balkonda, Telangana, yesterday at 10am. In full public view, he set himself ablaze and was later shifted to hospital with about 90 percent burns. Today - he succumbed to the injuries. Sudhakar is a small time tea vendor near Balkonda bus stand and he has been facing harrassment from the police for a while now, only because he keeps his shop open beyond 10pm. Police slapped three cases for selling chai beyond 10pm and he was frequently called to the police station on the pretext of investigation and questioning. He was called yesterday also and was asked to attend court & pay penalties. This was the fourth penalty on him. In a statement recorded yesterday at the hospital, Sudhakar detailed out how SI Tirupathi mentally tortured him and drove him to take this extreme step. After Sudhakar’s death today, Nizamabad CP Sai Chaitanya said police did nothing wrong in this case and were only doing their job 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

A very mysterious case is unfolding in Ch Agraharam village in Tuni rural mandal of Kakinada district. Andhra Pradesh. A 3-year old girl child Jnaneswari, daughter of Sunkara Ganesh and Bhavani is residing with her parents on a farm. They work as the caretakers. On 6th June, she went from the farm with their pet dog looking for her father. Since then she went missing. A lakh rupees reward for the missing child has been announced. According to the police, the area behind their house includes nearly 1,000 acres of forest land and hills. 25 SDRF personnel, 10 special party members, seven CIs, some SIs, police personnel, forest department staff and local villagers - altogether about a 100 people are searching for Jnaneswari. Last evening the pet dog came back. After coming home, the dog went to the mother and was barking, it started pulling her. But the moment the search party, dog squad started chasing the dog, apparently the dog got scared and ran away into nearby farms. The drone search party that was tracking the dog suddenly lost the visual due to the heavy rain. It’s been four days since the little girl went missing. Hoping she is safe and I hope the dog is taking care of her.

FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH??? Varshita, a 10th class student at Government Gurukul School Vangara died by suicide recently! Varshitha was school topper, school captain and an excellent student. She even recently received an award from the district collector. She came back home from Diwali vacation and immediately called her parents to come take her because the principal and vice principal were harassing her. She reported them for pilfering school supplies. Varshitha died by suicide in the hostel barely an hour after calling her parents. Don’t know what is worse! Varshitha’s death or her body was transported in a tractor instead of ambulance!!!! Meanwhile, her harassers are all fine! Happened in #Telangana #ValueOfTruth

14 year old Arun Tej died today in Andhra Pradesh. He wasn’t doing any stunts or loitering in a dangerous zone…. Arun, a 10th class students at Salur Government High School in Manyam District, Andhra Pradesh died when the school wall collapsed! He was AT SCHOOL!!! He died because of the Terrible Infrastructure at the Government school!! I hope someone has answers for his heartbroken mother. One more student is currently battling for life.
