FERAL PIGS: This is a typical engagement sequence on a mob of pigs breaking cover. Rapidly shoot down the line from the rear of the mob. The 308 Win can be a little heavy on smaller pigs like these with some rounds zipping through - that is why every engagement has a ‘flyback procedure’ where both pilot and shooter check and confirm that each animal has been humanely destroyed after the initial engagement. This is what grass roots ‘hands on’ conservation looks like. You can have feral animals or you can have natives but you can’t sustainably have both. 🎥 Instagram (@fvr375)
