"Davido removed us from his record label. It was like part of David's plan from the onset. He tweeted one time and said; "All my boys, after I give them this contract, and the contract expires, I want them to go and start as an independent artist". And the contract expired in 2020." - Mayorkun

"Tiwa Savage didn't own EMINADO. Song like eminado, now was actually originally for Dr Sid. Dr Sid had just lost his father then, and we finished doing the burial. I was in the studio trying to workout something for him, like a record to console him, but was later changed and added to Tiwa Savage's album." - Don Jazzy

"Otunba Dayo Adeneye was the person God sent to change my life. If you had known me years ago, all my teeth were all brown, it was Dayo Adeneye. Dayo called me by himself suddenly and asked me to go to a dental clinic where my teeth was changed and my first appearance was at the 'Peak Talent Show' and I was paid 15 million." — Helen Paul

"There was a day in court, I announced my appearance. "With profound respect my lord, Folarin Falana appearing for the petif." Then the judge said; "counsel, are you not the one doing something else on the side? He said it in a coded way he didn't use his mouth to talk, by this time he must have known I'm the lawyer doing music." - Falz

"Burna boy came to limelight after Wizkid and Davido started reigning. There was no BIG 3, it was BIG 2, only until 2019. Burna Boy did not get on to that Big 3 up until 2019 when he released "African Giant", what did he have in his catalog that made him the top 3." — DJ Jimmy Jatt

"My biggest mistake was letting Di'ja go. Letting Di'ja go was a very difficult thing for me, and I don't think I'm letting anyone go again by myself, maybe Tega or Rema now that handles whose to leave, if they need anyone to leave the label, it's not me to do the job." - Don Jazzy

"I regretted the Olamide and I clash at the Headies award, because I got to know the kind of person that he is. We're not different from each other, he's passionate about his signee and himself. It just happened so fast, and I was upset because people thinks we pay for award." - Don Jazzy

"There's a spiritual secret attached to music. I'm not a Christian nor a Muslim, I'm a babalawo and when I tell people that, they run away from me. When you sing as an artiste, watch what you say in words cos the devil controls music." - 9ice
