————— Following repeated public complaints regarding water stagnation at Subramanian Street, SVS Nagar, I conducted an on-site inspection this evening after the rains. Upon noticing water stagnation, I instructed the AE to take immediate action and personally ensured that the stagnant water was cleared. Every public grievance deserves timely action and resolution.

🔥 #RCPforMaduravoyal #rhevanthcharan #maduravoyal #tvk #mla TVK Vijay CMOTamilNadu

This morning, I rushed to the site of the major fire accident in Porur, where a massive blaze had broken out at a wooden warehouse. Nearly 11 lorry loads of water were deployed to bring the fire under control. Ensured swift and coordinated action by the Fire and Rescue Services, Metro Water, Police Department, and other concerned agencies, which helped prevent any injuries and stopped the fire from spreading to nearby residential and commercial areas. Subsequently, I convened a review meeting with Electricity Board officials to ascertain the possible source and cause of the incident. Instructions have also been issued to GCC and TNEB officials to formulate and implement a proper safety measures for fire-prone establishments like temporary structures and warehouses, in order to strengthen safety measures and prevent such incidents in the future. Our party cadres were arrested by police officials last night for erecting flags on the occasion of our Vetri Thalaivar TVK Vijay s Birthday in Tiruvattriyur at 1215 midnight. We had gathered and sent Advocates from our Advocates Wing and all of them were later released on seeing our cadre strength and Advocate Team s efficiency.

One of the key promises I placed before the people during my election campaign was to transform the landscape of Maduravoyal and position it as the Gateway of Chennai. Today, I raised this vision in the Assembly and brought it to the attention of our Government. A greener, cleaner, more habitable and better-planned Maduravoyal - that is the transformation we are committed to delivering. From a campaign promise to the Assembly floor - the journey has begun.
