Following my most recent visit to Content, my reports of what obtain and my request for additional interventions , the Coast Guard ; the naval arm/unit of the Jamaica Defense Force (JDF), which falls under the executive arm of our government (more specifically the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Security) made a visit to the area. The police had long declared the area/roadway impassable. We urge curious members of the public to desist from breaching the barricades. I remain in very close contact with members of the community and some of the affected home owners . More updates will follow.

The Maypen to Williamsfield Leg of the South Coast High Way is 90% complete . I am extremely excited about this capital project . When completed, commute time between Mandeville & Kingston will be significantly reduced .Thanks Prime Minister Andrew Holness for this investment.
