Bloody hunt was out today, found this lost hound at the back of our property. Took her in for a feed and fuss. Hate hunters but you can't blame the hounds. Sent her off down the track to neighbouring farm that is friends with the huntsman.

Charlie making sure I'm well fed lol. He's 9 now and I can still remember the little abandoned cub that can to us dragging it back legs. He's taught me so much about fox behaviour. #FoxOfTheDay

Strange how living with foxes for 15 years and before that, many years in the field photographing them, makes my views invalid. However a farmer with his livelihood invested in the discussion is the only valid opinion. Double standards don't you think. #FoxOfTheDay

Apparently I'm too emotionally connected to foxes to comment about modern farming practices destroying our wildlife. Nothing to do with washing our countryside with Neonics, thugging hedgerows, spreading infected shit across fields. No, it's all the fox and badgers fault.

Why should we have to put up with lost hounds trained to kill foxes running amok in the countryside and our properties. Time to ban hunt with dogs for good.

I've been amazed at the reaction to the little videos I've been putting up. Here's a little one with Charlie, and yes you do hear one of our rescue chickens at the end of the video. Just to cover the bases, Charlie is a rescue. Don't do this to a wild one. #Foxoftheday
