They didn’t double cover Evans lmfao. Look at the trips safety. He’s not even turned toward Evans, he’s looking for an inside vertical because Evans went vertical from #1. Please do your readers a favor learn ball man. This is embarrassing.

5-man pressure, 2 deep 4 under zone from McDonald, no defender wider than the numbers when Purdy wants to throw. Disrespectful stuff from Mike Mac lol. Take your check down challenge

Idk who Garrett Wallow is at all but he flashed big time yesterday when the defense needed him to start.

Did Jaycee Horn make a great play here? Absolutely. But the throw was late because Brock hitched twice after a 7 step drop. Deep dig footwork on their play action drop back is 7 + 1 hitch, not two. That extra hitch allowed Horn to fly across to pick it.

On Barkley’s big first quarter run, Lenoir needed to stay outside as the force player and when the Eagles tried it in the 3Q again, Lenoir first jumped inside but recognized the play and bounced back out for a TFL.

Another play that looks cool but no reason for him to go off script. Find the space in the pocket and throw to Juice wide open on the return route within structure. It’s there.

Matt Patricia did a clinic at Notre Dame several years ago and gave his perspective on the play. Still maintain passing was the right call and everyone on both sidelines knew it because of the clock and timeout situation.

Here's all of Purdy's tight window throws on 3rd down last year on intermediate (10-19) and deep (20+) where coverage is within 1 yard less. Tough pill to swallow indeed, David.

Opposing defenses are baiting these throws to the middle and jumping them with perfect timing.

Fans will do this thing where when Purdy makes what they think is an unbelievable play, he did it because everyone around him sucks, like we don't have a ton of plays where Juice quite literally shakes getting tackled. Like Juice couldn't break a tackle or two in that Chicago play if he got the ball on time.
