I think this was the height of my happiness last season next to Luka’s game winner vs. Denver. Coming off a back to back walk down on Houston, we come back again, Luka’s going to the line for 60, everyone on the bench happy, celebrating him…just couldn’t beat the vibes at this time, man. All the talk about Bron supposedly ruining the vibes opening night and all that nonsense being put to bed. Remains criminal we were robbed of seeing this team at full strength in the playoffs. Even if OKC or SA were better, we were robbed of the chance to fight for it smh.

These are one of the few scenes in DBZ where I prefer the OG dub. Not because of the voice acting but because of the dialogue and Goku trash talking. Goku, in no uncertain terms just flat out tells Vegeta he’s stronger than him and no amount of training is going to close the gap and Vegeta is just insecure as all hell. It’s brilliant. Vegeta always referred to Goku as a low class warrior and now that same low class is big leaguing him in front of everyone, even his own son. And he says it so casually because he knows he ain’t gonna step cause he can’t do anything about it. Full circle moment.
