Two 18 wheelers carrying hay bales for the cull at the BC Ostrich Farm make a dramatic entrance and pretend they don't have enough room to make the turn into the property. RCMP throws a fit and orders a pickup truck filming the semis to move even though they could have easily made the turn. Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) of the Canadian Army records the fiasco and notes that both semi trucks are illegally covering their plates and CVOR numbers. It seems that some people are allowed to break the law so long as they're working for the government. Why are citizens accountable while police and the government are not? Every part of this story is insane and unethical. Much, much more to come as the RCMP came back shortly after this to accost the driver of the pickup truck.

BREAKING: A truck carrying blue privacy fencing has arrived at the BC Ostrich farm. It seems police are doing everything possible to prevent cameras from being able to record what they are so desperate to do! Immediately after reporting this, Jim Kerr was detained by RCMP.

Canadian Army combat veteran Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) captured the arrival of yet another 18 wheeler of hay at the BC Ostrich Farm this evening. The birds started a brief stampede before the truck arrived in the controlled area. A veteran with tours in Somali, Bosnia and Afghanistan, Sgt. Rude expressed outrage at the country Canada has become. He lamented our country's fallen and called out the abusive behaviour of the CFIA and the RCMP towards innocent Canadians and the Universal Ostrich Farm. Our veterans, our farmers and our country deserve so much better.

What a sh*tshow. The RCMP tells Canadian Army veteran Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) and a man recording on his phone that the semis delivering hay to cull the ostriches at the Universal Ostrich Farm in BC can cover their plates because of "threats." The officers explain that there has been a complaint and the vehicles in the area are now involved in an investigation, and he orders a man driving a pickup truck to produce his license for the police investigation. The man complies and Sgt. Rude also offers his information to affirm that the pickup driver's story about the dramatic show the semis put on is true and accurate. They clearly had plenty of room to make the turn and were not obstructed in any way. It's disturbing that the CFIA and RCMP are proceeding full steam ahead with cull preparations and building the massive hay wall that will be used to "destroy" the ostriches despite the Supreme Court stay. It's almost like they know with absolute confidence what the outcome will be. It seems that the police don't want people who disagree with the companies going along with their farce to be able to lawfully express their disagreement or make their own decisions to boycott the businesses. In a statement days ago, the RCMP said that companies have the right to work with whoever they want without being harassed. They also said they are working on investigations to charge individuals for harassing businesses. Though I have been unable to find any information from the RCMP that they are investigating the very serious gun crime of someone shooting the farm's ostriches over the past 9 months. Sgt. Rude points out that it appears the police can basically make the rules up as they go, such as covering plates and DOT / CVOR information. He reminds the officers of the brutality of the RCMP in Ottawa during the 2022 trucker protest. Canada is in a sad state. It's sick that there are people out there who support this cruelty and get a kick out of it.

Protesters accuse the RCMP of terrorizing the ostriches with lights and drones at the BC ostrich farm overnight. Multiple police cars are lighting up the area while police drones circle above. CFIA agents wearing Hazmat costumes took down the farm's cameras in the pen yesterday, limiting everyone's ability to watch what's happening to the animals. 📷 Norm Comeau
