Kevin Bieksa called out Yegor Sharangovich after the game for his lack of effort. Kevin is spot on. Sharangovich was terrible last season and it's continued into this season. The lack of intensity. physicality, and compete is not good enough. He needs a major wake up call.

I appreciate that the #Flames aren't going to make any short term fixes. But they desperately need to become a proactive team and stop making decisions at the last second. Why they would hold on to guys like Coleman and Kadri at the height of their trade value makes no sense.

Great pass by Zayne Parekh to find Porter Martone. That’s 5 points in 3 games for Parekh.

It’s nice to hear a national reporter/insider tell it like it is when it comes to the #Flames “They’ve got to be real. They’re not making the playoffs… No man’s land is the killer in this league” Hopefully the Flames actions will speak louder than words over the next 2 months

Here are Simon Nemec's goals from last season. You can tell he has a good shot and a dynamic skillset. He'll also help the Flames in 3 on 3 OT which they've struggled with mightily over the last few years. He's a project. But you can tell the potential is there.

Thomas Drance from The Athletic had some interesting analysis and comments on Viggo Björck. The more you read about and watch Björck, the more I think it makes sense for the #Flames to pick him 6th overall. They desperately need to add high skilled centres to the organization.

#Flames Report Cards Jonathan Huberdeau: C It was a rough year for Huberdeau. He put up 25 points in 50 games and was a non factor on the majority of nights. A lot of that probably had to do with injuries. He got hurt in the preseason and was also dealing with a hip issue.
