Why is the energy at the end of every (poker) series always so grim? More than half the players in this $3k NLH at World Poker Tour Wynn look like they died inside last week. The other half looks emotionally bankrupt. Ironically, I actually enjoyed busting my second bullet with AA all-in pre. It gave me a standard bad beat story everyone’s tired of hearing about… which perfectly matched the energy in the room. Third bullet incoming. Maybe I’ll see more smiles 🙃

In case anyone was wondering what tilt looks like… watch below! 🫨 (Apologies for the close-up conversation… I clearly need to work on my camera distance 🫣) KK < QQ all-in pre-flop… and ofc a Q shows up on the flop 🤮 last hand of the day! Lost it all 5 min before bagging. Is this why quitters quit?! Because I’m really feeling it … 😖 I’m not even a hugger but pretty sure I could use a few hugs right now! 😭 I am constantly floored at the stamina and resilience this tournament grind demands. It takes a certain type to endure it, and I have mad respect for those who have done it year after year….
