If the New York Jets fan narrative is already, "Braelon's vision is great, whereas Breece's is crap," please stop. There's a significant difference between the "Breece missed a cutback" play and Braelon's (coming in the wide zone), and a legit *reason* for Breece's choice ... 👇

Brady Cook is showing some absurdly good stuff on tape from a guy in his situation (UDFA, near-afterthought at OTAs), to the point that it has to be forcing the New York Jets to consider him for the 53. *****Anticipation and leverage, the nuances of playing *on time* while delivering the ball in the *right spot*. Great job by Skinner on this one as well, as his route-running wherewithal/feel is noticeable on tape.

We'll be breaking down every David Bailey (positives, negatives, etc.), along with more #Jets v Bucs stuff. First and foremost, let's focus on one of the major transitions for him (from the Big 12 to the NFL): much heavier pass-rush/contain responsibilities at this level.

What happened to the New York Jets' pass coverage? We roll through PIT's first TD of the game. ***And one warning for this season: Jet X will not contribute to this absurd short-attention-span sports media world. All football fans of all types are welcome, but the miserable, internet-tough-guy humans need not watch. (You can comment, though, bc we love when the miserable folks identify themselves. Great fodder for us.)

There's been good, bad, pretty, and ugly with #New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers this year, but only a handful of quarterbacks today can even dream of replicating this play/throw. Yes, there's an argument for wanting to move on from him, but the fervor I'm currently seeing from Jets fans—in the anti-Rodgers movement—is insane. To actively try to boot him out of town at this stage of the game is one of the silliest things I've ever seen. Considering all the variables we know, particularly how putrid the coaching and leadership have been, nobody can convince me this man has played poorly. It's impossible. His only sin, really, is not meeting the absurd "hero" expectations that were unfairly placed upon him. Hire the right HC and GM, and let them make the decision. I trust that the football people will make the correct football decision.
