Spending next 2 days at Network School NS by Balaji just across from Singapore 🇸🇬 First impressions: - This place is nuts, literally - You can feel the optimism resonating as soon as you step into the lobby - It’s a 13 floor 5 star hotel taken over by cracked startup founders in a $100B ghost city that was built for 700k people but only inhabits ~4k - The energy is intense, everyone’s locked in, every room has multiple whiteboards, and every whiteboard has multiple ideas scrawled all over it - Every fridge is packed with Bryan Johnson approved meals (I had my first ever Nutty Pudding and it was better than I expected altho could’ve had more berries in it 🍓) - Not everyone here is technical, so you get a bunch of different perspectives which is nice - The gym is huge and has a sauna+cold plunge which is a massive bonus - I played chess against a physical robot for the first time lol Overall everyone is really friendly and happy to chat And they are happy to actually sit down to go deep into things and share some of their domain knowledge (which is awesome) My brain is so stimulated from the first 24hrs of convos So far the place holds up to its name Will update again soon

I’m alive and now in Medellín, Colombia 🇨🇴 NomadList (by @levelsio) brought Stanley Ziem and I back together again 🇧🇷 And it was the coolest meetup I’ve done in a while The guy who organised it owned the hotel/bar where the meetup was hosted After showing us around he mentioned Medellín has over 11,000 nomads You can feel it The city has a thriving productive energy There’s a really cool coffee shop coworking culture here ☕️ And a huge social wellness community too with the Medellín run club every Sunday 🏃 I’ve only been here for 2 weeks but seriously considering making it a base 🏡
