FWIW: -Christian Walker is the best 1st basemen the Astros have had since Gurriel’s 2021 season. -His 1.5 bWAR ranks 5th among MLB 1st basemen. -Defensively, he’s in the 88th percentile in Range OAA and 84th percentile in FRV. -Scoops (1st in MLB).

Kyle Tucker should have been a hero in Game 1 of the World Series slamming 2 HR w/ 4 RBI (not to be). The sky’s the limit for Tucker. Larger bases and no shift should allow him to have a terrific year in ‘23. He is 4th in bWAR among all OF since 2020.
