ROBOTIS

At Humanoids Summit Seoul 2026, ROBOTIS CEO Byoung-soo Kim shared the company’s vision for an open-source humanoid platform. ⠀ He described a future where humanoids evolve into platforms - much like smartphones - supporting a wide range of applications, services, and new possibilities. ⠀ To make that future possible, ROBOTIS believes both hardware and software need to be more open and accessible, lowering the barriers to humanoid development and real-world deployment. ⠀ ROBOTIS is building this ecosystem around AI Sapiens, working with university students through the OH! GYM! project and collaborating with global partners such as NVIDIA to connect simulation, AI training, and real-world deployment. ⠀ Our goal is simple: Make humanoid development more accessible and bring robots closer to real-world applications. ⠀ Stay tuned as ROBOTIS continues to build the open ecosystem for the next generation of humanoids. 🚀 ⠀ #ROBOTIS #NVIDIA #HumanoidsSummit #AISapiens #Humanoid #Robot #PhysicalAI #Robotics #OpenSource
