Sid Wilson is out of Slipknot, according to a new report from TMZ. TMZ says Wilson was notified late Friday afternoon that he is permanently out of the band, citing a source close to Slipknot with direct knowledge. No reason for the exit has been given. Neither Slipknot nor Wilson has issued a public statement, and the band has not addressed the report. Wilson has been the group's DJ and turntablist since the late 1990s, appearing on every Slipknot studio album. Nothing is confirmed until the band or Sid speaks.
