Blue Needle Quartz Sphere 🤯 The blue needles inside this Quartz sphere are not mineral inclusions, but tiny gas-filled voids. Under bright light they glow blue due to the Tyndall effect, the same phenomenon that makes our sky appear blue. They only become visible at specific angles and create beautiful feather-like patterns within the Quartz.

The Mother of all Aquamarines🙌💎✨ This might be one of the best Aquamarine on Matrix pieces ever discovered. A massive single Aquamarine crystal towers over a bed of white prismatic Feldspar crystals. The main Aquamarine has a perfect stepped termination and a brisk, glacier blue tone. Even the Aquamarines radiating outward at the base are stunning with amazing clarity and aesthetic placement. This cluster weighs around 70 lb (32 kg) and was found at the famous Goand Mine in Skardu, Pakistan, a place known for its Aquamarines but rarely something of this caliber. It’s a miracle with its size and composition that it was found in such pristine condition with no damage or repair. This truly is one of the best in the world that could be the centerpiece of any museum or top collection!💎✨ Aquamarine on Feldspar Goand Mine, Skardu, Pakistan The Terra Collection

S-Shaped Herkimer "Diamond" Chain This specimen is unique because it has gemmy Smoky Quartz surrounding a clear Quartz crystal in the center and an aesthetic S-shape. Herkimer "Diamonds" are a variety of Quartz found in Herkimer, New York. These are nicknamed "Diamonds" because of their incredible brilliance and their chunky, double terminated shape that resembles a diamond. Mining for these crystals is very difficult because they are embedded in hard rock which requires lots of work to find small quantities and they are rarely found in long chains like this with excellent clarity.

Trippy Velvet Malachite 🌀 We are excited to share this phenomenal Malachite because it is the best example we have ever filmed! The velvety texture is caused by tiny fibrous crystals of Malachite that form in bubbly (botryoidal) layers. When light interacts with the surface of malachite, it gets scattered and absorbed by the numerous crystal surfaces, creating a soft and velvety appearance. It was found at the Shilu Mine in Guangdong, China. Currently on display at the Granada Gallery Special Exhibition from the collection of Dr. Erika Pohl - Featuring all Copper & Iron Minerals from now until February 10th in Tucson, AZ ✨ #malachite #gems #gemshow #trippy

Can you see the hidden face in this Opal? 😮 This Opal formed over 100 Million years ago inside an ironstone concretion known as a “nut.” Cracks developed throughout the nut and later Silica-rich groundwater seeped in, filled the fractures, and slowly solidified into colorful Opal. What you’re seeing are natural Opal vein systems frozen in time. Koroit Nut Opal from Queensland, Australia
