Rogue really do always come to Gambit’s rescue.

I’m still not over this bit from Episode 8. The way he brushes her hair behind her hair and holds her face? He makes me sick. I wish we had gotten more of them.

Actually, you know what? I don't care. This little bit of Bishop and Polaris? I think it’s cute. Another ship where I think both the people in it are hot, sure! Why the hell not?

“It’s hard to believe what’s not waiting for me.” Having her say this and then having her come back to be confronted with a nightmare version of him that isn't in control of himself and is probably going to try to kill her at some point is so sick and twisted, but SO good.

AJ brings a certain kind of loverboy and yearning to Gambit that makes me feel sick. No one has ever loved their partner the way that his Gambit does, you know?

“You charm like him, but Remy would never have attacked that plane. The X-Men were his family.” and “Then we be ready to take on the world.” are lines I really wish we hadn't lost. The extended scene is so good. 📹: @/saint jade on TikTok

The way he says “What’d I miss?” scratches an itch in my brain. Getting to see Gambit back in action after two years without him was something else. I’m so happy he’s back. 🥹♥️

Listen, I’m incredibly happy that we finally have him back, but I don't think I'm ever going to get over how horrific his resurrection is. The way his body is moving and the way he's screaming breaks my heart. Get this man wrapped in a blanket and in Rogue’s arms immediately.

Although it’s been two years, I’m still in awe of AJ LoCascio♥️♠️♦️♣️’s performance in this episode. And the way Lenore Zann delivered “I can't feel you.” still gets me. Truly just stellar work. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, we’re so lucky they’re our Rogue and Gambit.
