Come kennelling with Wonderful Dollar (Dolly)🐶🐾 These are the key steps a greyhound must take every time they come for a race/trial at the track!⤵️ ✅ Identify the greyhound: Microchip scanned and earmarks checked. ✅ Weighed in: A greyhound can be 1kg up or down from their last weight but no more in order to race! ✅ Checked over by the onsite Vet to make sure they are fit and healthy for racing. If you enjoyed this video let us know! There’s plenty more we’d love to make if it gives people a little more insight as to what goes on behind the scenes!☺️🐾

Get ready with Perfecto Buick for his Retirement Race!🏅 These are the steps every greyhound takes before they go racing⤵️ Pre race: ✅ Step 1: Muzzle on for safety ✅ Step 2: Race jacket on ✅ Step 3: Coat on depending on the weather! ✅ Step 4: Walked for the Vet to assess ✅ Step 5: Microchip scanned and earmarks checked Post race: ✅ Step 1: Take off muzzle, coat and jacket ✅Step 2: Wash off before they chill in their allocated kennel! A greyhound must then cool off for 15 minutes in their kennel before they can be loaded onto the van ready to go home.🏡🐾 Special well done and happy retirement to Nathan Hunt and Trinity Greyhound’s PERFECTO BUICK who won his retirement race! What a hound he has been for connections, time to put your paws up Buck!🥰💕
