CHRONOLOGY OF EVENTS LEADING TO THE ATTACK OF DCP TRUCK. A DCP campaign team was positioned at Kaptein doing civic education. 2 Prados and Subaru approached from the Ndemi side. Armed men disembarked from the Prados and started firing teargas canisters at the truck. The truck driver fled towards Gilgil under hot pursuit from the 3 vehicles. One of the Prados lost control and rolled somewhere between Karunga and Chokereria... The DCP truck got stuck at Pembroke Bridge. The crew of MCs, DJ and dancers disembarked from the truck and fled on foot under heavy gunfire. The thugs set the truck on fire. The truck driver was taken by the thugs. Years after Government Neglect and Denied Services the government is distributing anything and everything in Ol Kalou. You want Gas Cooker but no place to refill it ever ?
