I suddenly realized that most of the other houses on our lake in Michigan have their college team flags on their docks or the emblem painted on their boathouse, and it’s all University of Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana U, a little Wisconsin and even an Ohio. No Chicago anything! So I’m representing for Chicago now and waiting on a White Sox flag. Can’t wait to get that one up!

I may have said this before: Behind McCormick Place maybe doesn’t sound great but in fact it’s one of the most peaceful places to sit along the lakefront, with that behemoth of a building blocking all the noise from the city and LSD. Happy Labor Day weekend!
