Experimented with a more storytelling-driven video around Riftbound this week! Syd’s been on a Riftbound kick for the past month, so we leaned into that journey while mixing in more vlog elements and building around the “5 tournaments in 48 hours” challenge subplot. I think it’s one of the cleanest videos I’ve made in a while. I focused a lot more on the cuts, pacing, sound design and just the right amount of motion graphics. Nothing super flashy, but sitting down and focusing on making something clean, simple and intentional was a really nice reset for me, and feels much closer to the direction I want to take my work.
