Chess needs focus, but Jenga tests your nerves too. Great to unwind and share some laughs with friends during free time!

Tata Steel Chess India in Kolkata didn’t go my way on the board, but there were positives to take away. Off the board, it was wonderful to see so many fans turning up, supporting and cheering for the players. I truly enjoyed that experience. Now heading to the Tata Steel Masters in Wijk aan Zee, a very prestigious event. The field this year looks extremely interesting and probably one of the youngest too. Looking forward to the next two weeks of chess! Do follow the event, and if you’re in the Netherlands, come by and watch the games. See you there. Cheers!

Magnus Carlsen has always set the benchmark for what excellence in chess looks like. His consistency, creativity and deep understanding of the game continues to inspires many players every single day. Definitely incredible to witness what he keeps achieving.

People often ask if there’s sibling rivalry between me and Akka... but honestly, it’s more about bonding than competing. We don’t play many games against each other — we just talk a lot about chess, share ideas, and help each other grow. At the end of the day, we’re just like any other siblings — sometimes serious, sometimes silly, but always there for each other.
