Pashtun Attan is really interesting and catchy in its own quirky way. You can literally feel a striking confluence of different ancient civilizations in just this one dance. The Rabab melts like sunlight dancing on calm water with it's melody straight from the Greco-Bactrian/Kushan era, the back-and-forth martial spins with rhythmic claps straight out of ancient Iranic martial dances & the bass-heavy Dhol from Greater Gandhara.
