Paige Ostroushko, Chris Ostroushko, and Paige’s boyfriend have only been charged with MISDEMEANORS. Hernandez is suffering from a concussion, two sprains, and multiple bruises as a result of the assault, according to our friend Breanna Morello. Hernandez was assaulted by at least six people during Saturday’s protest. Deyanna Ostroushko (mother) has NOT been charged, even though video appears to show her making physical contact with Hernandez and refusing to leave her alone. Additionally, the two women who were seen assaulting Hernandez with sex toys have NOT been charged. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office tells me that this is still an active investigation. HENNEPIN COUNTY SHERIFF: "Our investigators are among the best in the state and are committed to a comprehensive, victim-centered approach. They work closely with the victim, review all available evidence—including videos—and interview witnesses to ensure every detail is examined." The FBI and DHS have opened a federal investigation into the matter, and we will provide updates.
