This is the cnc I made in 1997, its the 2nd cnc machine I built. The motion control is all done in a program written in C that runs on the 386. Each motor is operated via 4 bits of a parallel port (uses 2 ports) Its job today is to slot some parts.

ok that is a LOT more responsive than I thought it would be, trimming up the motion from a gyro might have to be done carefully. might need a filter too?

ITS 1AM. I GOT SERIAL PROGRAMMING WORKING ON THE 1 BIT COMPUTER!!!!!! THIS IS __AWESOME__!!!!! (ugh, so much fight) now I can *just* upload programs to it!!! Its running off an SRAM chip!!!
